How could today's post NOT be about the new glorious single from the queen, Lana Del Rey? West Coast is so amazing that my ears and soul can't handle it. Here is the audio.
The surf rock vibe of this song is so fitting to its title and even the littler video snippet we see on loop is perfect. I'm assuming this is a small portion of the music video that's to come and I can't wait to see the rest. I'm praying that the rest of this album keeps with this surfer sensibility because I think it adds a little grit to Lana's more ethereal sound that she's had on other albums. I'm ready for less violins and orchestra and more guitar and lazy drum beats. This song already put me in the summer mood and made me just want to go spin around on a beach in a leather jacket too!
