Coachella haters back off

Alright, so as many of you know Coachella is going on right now in the deserts of California. I have been hearing a lot more about Coachella this year than in the past and most of the reason I've been hearing more is because people are complaining about how much they hate Coachella. Is it like the cool California thing to hate Coachella? Is it like how people in New York City think it's cool to not own a TV but still spend five hours a day on Netflix and Hulu? I don't get it.

Coachella is a live music festival with a variety of musical acts that takes place somewhere warm where people dress in like floral ensembles and celebrate music and art. Why is that something to hate on? If an event like that wasn't allowed to exist people would be outraged and would be fighting for it. I understand if you don't want to go to a desert or whatever, but don't hate on the entire event just because you don't want to leave the AC, or because you can't take the stick out of your ass for five minutes to let loose.

I mean here are some reasons I loved Coachella thus far...

We got a premier of Lana's new song "West Coast"

We got to see a great set by the little angel whisperer, Ellie Goulding

OUTKAST fucking reunited

We got to pretend we were in a gay African drumming circle with Bastille's "Pompeii"

And speaking of Africans, Nas brought out Jay Z and Diddy during his set...

And Solange brought out Beyonce during her set!

I'm sorry but I just don't see what there is to hate about Coachella! So everyone on the E! Network (I'm looking at you "Fashion Police" and the "Fabulist") and everywhere else needs to chill the fuck out and just embrace Coachella as a fun festival of people enjoying life, art, and music. If you want to hate on everything then go spend a winter in New York where everyone does nothing but bitch and wear all black for four months.
